New Website, New Logo and Carers Support Network Grants
The Digbeth Trust has recently revitalized its website, and it will go live on 1st April. This has included the updating of the websites pages and improvements in the website’s ease of navigation.
The Digbeth Trust has taken this opportunity of revitalization to produce a new logo. That is felt to be more in keeping with the reinvigoration that has been applied to the website.
The Carers’ Support Network grant applications are now all in, and are being processed before they are discussed by the panel that will judge their merits and decide who will be awarded a share of the money on offer to successful applicants.
For all of those who applied for this grant good luck with your application.

The Digbeth Trust Weekly Information Broadcast
Since 2009 the Digbeth Trust has broadcast information via its website blog and also emailed the Broadcast to its subscribers. Up to 25 items of news and information covering funding sources, training opportunities, job vacancies and local conferences are published on a weekly basis as a free service to the Voluntary Sector and other subscribers in the West Midlands. We circulate wide ranging news from national initiatives to local community events. To date we have published over 1600 items.
There were 20,000 views of the Broadcast in 2009 and in 2010 we expect that figure to be in excess of 30,000 views, a 50% increase over the last year.
We would like to thank everyone who uses the Broadcast and we welcome your feedback to further improve our service. Leave your feedback on info@digbethtrust.org.uk

The Digbeth Trust (AGM) Annual General Meeting 2010
The Annual General Meeting was held on the 4th of November 2010 at The Deaf Cultural Centre with the theme of sustainability, the meeting had a good turnout of around 40 people, with the Digbeth Trust Staff, Trustees, Members and Partnership Organisations attending. The Deaf Cultural Centre catering team put on a very nice spread of sandwiches, pastries and drinks for us.
We had the pleasure of having The Right Reverend David Urquhart Lord Bishop of Birmingham (below) attend the meeting as the key note speaker.
We also had the pleasure of having James Forest (below) present at the meeting, who gave a speech about how a small grant from the Digbeth Trust helped his organisation Sport for Life (UK) grow.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Digbeth Trust AGM.
For more information or pictures about the AGM please contact Guy Kibbler at guykibbler@digbethtrust.org.uk
