Heart of Birmingham Teaching PCT – Carers Support Networks Programme 2011
Update
The grants for The Carers Support Network have now been awarded. The 11 Successful applicants were awarded their cheque's in a presentation on the 5th July 2011.

This grants programme aims to improve the support available to carers in the Heart of Birmingham Teaching Primary Care Trust area by supporting the establishment and/or development of carers support networks. The Applications were received from individuals and organisations based in the Heart of Birmingham Teaching PCT area (Aston, Handsworth Wood, Ladywood, Lozells and East Handsworth, Nechells, Oscott, Perry Barr, Soho, Sparkbrook and Springfield) for Grants of up to £3,000.

Mental Health Grants 2010-11 for Voluntary and Community Organisations in the Heart of Birmingham
This small grants programme aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing (low level anxiety and depression) of residents in the Heart of Birmingham Teaching PCT area with grants of up to £7000 available for organisations that attended one of the mandatory briefing sessions and also met the eligibility criteria.
The programme closed for expressions of interest on 17th June 2010. All applicants have been informed of decisions following the Grant Assessment Panel meeting which met on 22nd July 2010. A list of funded projects will be posted on this page once it is available.
