What we do
The Digbeth Trust helps voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
We promote the use of feasibility studies and business planning to ensure that management committees, staff and volunteers think through and plan appropriate actions for developing their organisation and its services.
We provide access to funding through a range of grant programmes we manage for third parties.
We put groups in touch with consultants offering professional and technical aid from our register of consultants. Our registered consultants are selected for their skills and experience in working with the voluntary sector e.g. architects, researchers, funding specialists, trainers and community development consultants.
We work with voluntary sector and public sector agencies to influence and strengthen the nuts and bolts of development support available to groups.
Also...
We can put you in touch with other organisations, partners and networks who may be able to help you.
The Trust has a database of over 1,700 voluntary and community organisations in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
We work with networks and partners to access other forms of support and information. We can sign post and refer to appropriate support and development agencies.
We administer third party small grant programmes, facilitate grant assessment panels, and provide a range of related management services.
