Membership
The Trust is a membership organisation. Membership is free and is
open to any individual or organisation who supports the work of the
Trust. Many members are organisations which have previously approached
the Trust for support or funding. The majority of the Trust's members
are voluntary and community based organisations.
Becoming a Member
Individuals or organisations that support the work of the Trust may apply to become members of the Trust.
Members are entitled to:
- Receive regular updates on the work of the Trust, including the Trustees / Directors annual report and accounts
- Attend the Annual General Meeting
- Elect the Board of Trustees at the Annual General Meeting
- Stand for election to serve as trustees
Membership Rules
- Membership is free
- Members are bound by the rules of the Digbeth Trust as set out in the memorandum and articles of association
- In the event of the Digbeth Trust being wound up the maximum liability for each member will be £1
- Written application for membership is required
- Membership will lapse after 4 years and re-applications are invited
- Board of Trustees approve all new members and is not obliged to give reasons for its decision to deny membership
- A member may be removed from the Trust by a resolution of the Board
- Membership ceases on death and is not transferable
